Having grown rapidly since our launch in 2012, we are looking for a highly motivated person to join our team to deliver the Upshot system and our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) support to the not-for-profit sector.

Originally developed by the Football Foundation – The Premier League, The FA and Government’s charity, Upshot was designed to manage, monitor and evidence community projects. We set up as an independent Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2021 and the platform is now being used by over 1,400 third-sector organisations, in the UK and internationally - ranging from local government, youth work and community centres to the criminal justice system, national governing bodies of sport and sport for development programmes, theatres and arts centres, education institutions and wildlife conservation.

This role will have a primary focus on supporting the existing Account and Support team to deliver a high level of customer service to new and existing clients. This will range from handling incoming support queries, delivering training sessions, creating and updating support resources and taking a proactive approach to managing the clients they are responsible for.

Work at Upshot is varied and flexible and as part of a small team of 11 people, there is a lot of potential to specialise in various aspects of running an innovative start-up. Our range of clients also allows for significant exposure to the wider third sector and the chance to build a strong network of relationships.

As a social enterprise, all our profits are reinvested back into our business, our product and our community. We love what we do and are looking for people who are enthusiastic and passionate about supporting our clients and partners and helping us grow our business. You will need to be a highly effective communicator, have strong attention to detail, be comfortable with Excel and online systems and have a willingness to dedicate yourself to the team and the enhancement of the system and sector.

You will be rewarded by working within a dedicated vibrant team and have excellent opportunities to develop your skills and experience, all while having the satisfaction of helping hundreds of charities evidence their impact. Our benefits include a wonderful social atmosphere, passionate people, a generous pension scheme, health care provision, a gym subsidy, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), and flexible working hours.

In short, it is a fantastic opportunity to make a major contribution to one of the most innovative online systems in the not-for-profit sector.
